I created my first picture book, Monster in the Forest in the winter of 2020. I loved the creative process that came with not only illustrating but publishing a picture book therefore I decided on self-publishing as it gave me 100% creative control of my books. Using all the skills and knowledge I gained in self-publishing Monster in the Forest, I wrote and illustrated two more books in 2021.
My second book ‘Pet Sitter wanted’ came about from the idea of a grumpy fish. I was sitting down on my lunch break at work when I took out a sheet of paper and started sketching a goldfish. By the end of the drawing session, I had developed a character that I fell in love with
